# Destination reached!

Congratulations on completing this path! Job well done!

We hope you’ve enjoyed traveling with us as you:

- Opened and named your alert rule
- Switched the query editor to Code mode
- Wrote a PromQL error-rate query using two `rate()` calls and a ratio
- Set the alert threshold and reviewed how to add a recovery threshold
- Created a folder and added a severity label
- Configured the evaluation interval and pending period
- Confirmed no-data and error handling
- Chose a contact point, wrote the notification message, and saved the rule
- Suppressed notifications during maintenance with a silence

Your practice rule is saved with a PromQL error-rate query in Code mode. Before using it for real notifications, confirm the query, set the recovery threshold, and select a contact point with a working destination.
