# Install Azure preconfigured alerts

In this milestone, you’ll install the preconfigured alerts for the Azure metrics that Cloud Provider Observability collects. Preconfigured dashboards appear automatically after you configure metrics, so you don’t need to install them. Preconfigured alerts require a one-time installation.

Cloud Provider Observability provides alert rules for many Azure services, so you can detect issues such as high CPU usage, connection failures, and storage capacity problems without writing rules yourself.

To install the preconfigured alerts, complete the following steps:

1. On the **Configuration** page, scroll to the **Alerts Installation** section.
2. Click **Install** to install the preconfigured alert rules for your Azure services. If the alerts are already installed, skip this step.

You installed the preconfigured alerts for your monitored Azure services.

Preconfigured dashboards are already available on the **Services** tab for services including Azure Application Gateway, Azure Blob Storage, Azure SQL Database, Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Virtual Network, and more.

For the full list of preconfigured dashboards and alerts, refer to [Preconfigured dashboards and alerts for Azure metrics](/docs/grafana-cloud/monitor-infrastructure/monitor-cloud-provider/azure/azure-alerts/).
